Julia is now in the second half of her Jellyfish Journey to raise funds for the Marine Conservation Society (https://www.mcsuk.org/). To mark the occasion, BBC Hereford and Worcester interviewed her on their Drive Time show yesterday. Julia's Jellyfish Journey was planned as a walk around the South West Coast Path from Minehead in north Somerset to Poole in Dorset - 630 miles of hard walking, with the equivalent height gain of climbing Mount Everest from sea level four times. As that walk is not permissible at the moment, Julia is walking the same distance and elevation in and around the Malvern Hills where she lives. To date, she has walked 360 miles and is well on the way to her third ascent of Everest!
Julia chose to support the Marine Conservation Society because it is small but influential, working hard to protect our seas so that nature flourishes and people thrive.
